Great place! 8.5/10! We were given time to look over the menu, then given complimentary beans and chips. Green salsa is good and semi-spicy while the orange is just fresh The food is delicious and a lot! We ordered Tacos Matamoros in adobo, Tacos de Birria w Queso, and a papa with meat We left with two tacos each and half a papa, a lot of food for a great price! We got two drinks and paid 38 in total
first time eating here, it was so good. The prices were great for the food, the service was fast, and the environment was nice. Definitely recommend coming here!
I have left several 5 star reviews for other taquerias around the valley but hands down these are the best bistec tacos i had in a while. The bistec had alot of flavor and don't even get me started on their baked potato! Creamy, with lots of cheese and a very big portion as well. You definitely need to try this place! They have other items on their menu which are probably very good as well!! 5 stars in my opinion!!
Excellent food and service! Wife and I stop by and ordered a little bit of everything. Highly recommend tacos matamoros! Loved the fact that they have Mexican bottled soft drinks. Staff was absolutely fantastic and the place was very clean. Will definitely be coming back
Absolutely loved every bit of this experience. I got to practice my Spanish (there were plenty of people that spoke English) and had some of the best tacos I've ever had. Absolutely loved this experience and wish I lived close enough to go all the time. If I'm ever in this part of the world again, this is a for sure stop! Thank you check in guy at the hotel for suggesting it!
Exceeded our expectations! Went on Christmas Eve Eve at 10pm & were told to seat where we wished. It is outside but under a tent so it shielded from cold & they also had heaters set up in different areas. Took a while to get our order taken, but they brought FREE chips & charro beans. Ordered two Lonches Progreso and they were HUGE! So filling & delicious (they definitely don’t hold back on their servings - SO delicious). Will definitely be back. - Came back on New Year’s Eve eve & tried the papa asada! for only 9, it was HUGE, and came with bistek (meat of choice), butter, crema, cheese... it’s very filling but gets kind of bland as you eat it. would probably stick with the lonches instead
Delicious! I was in the mood for tacos. I've been a little disappointed in the taquerias I've been to lately. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE! The service was amazing and they do not cheap our on the servings. Tacos are packed with meat with lots of toppings. The baked potato was delicious as well. Salsa could be a little more on the spicy side. Enough for leftovers to have a 2nd meal. Prices are reasonable too. This will be my go to for tacos from now on. The only issue was the location. Next to a busy highway can be noisy. But not to worry, you can have this to go. They will take your order without leaving your car.
Food was delicious! The portions were very generous. Tacos, papa and sincronizada were packed with bistec. The charro beans were super flavorful. We arrived at a good time since there was not many people but as we were ready to go the whole parking lot had filled up.
